2013 result: AJ Lucas total revenue fell 41.5% to $295 million as weak commodity prices and client focus on cost reduction cut drastically into sales. Net loss dragged down another 15% to hit $127 million, while basic loss per share was $0.976

AJ Lucas Group Limited operates as a diversified infrastructure, construction, and mining services company.
It provides services to the energy, water and wastewater, resources, and property sectors.
The company operates in three segments: Drilling; Engineering and Construction; and Oil and Gas.
The Drilling segment offers drilling services to the coal and coal seam gas industries for the degasification of coal mines and the recovery and commercialization of coal seam gas and associated services.
The Engineering and Construction segment engineers and constructs civil infrastructure and commercial development projects, including desalination plants, power stations, gas and water pipelines, and office buildings.
This segment is also involved in the trenchless installation of pipes and conduits using horizontal directional drilling and micro trenching.
The Oil and Gas segment is engaged in the exploration and commercialization of unconventional and conventional hydrocarbons.
The company has operations primarily in Australia, Europe, and the United States. AJ Lucas Group Limited is headquartered in Macquarie Park, Australia.
AJ Lucas are establishing drilling division offices in Wyong in the lower Hunter Valley.
