This aerial photo from 6 November 2013 shows the waste water pond being constructed by Santos near Narribri on an exploration license - before any Environmental Impact Statement EIS or final approvals for the coal seam gas project at the Pilliga State Forest.

An REF was approved for the project on 19 March 2013
